Running Back, Giving Back has been a lifelong personal mission for Kimble Anders.  The organization, designed to meet the needs of at-risk youth relies, on simple philosophies:

  • To encourage healthy diet and nutrition

  • To increase physical fitness and an active lifestyle

  • To aid in the prevention of tobacco, alcohol and drug use

  • Promote Community-wide Change

Why Kimble Got Involved
As an athlete, Kimble embraced the importance of a healthy diet, nutrition, physical fitness and an active lifestyle on a daily basis. Kimble knew that in order to be the best at his profession of football, he had to avoid the pitfalls of tobacco, alcohol and drug abuse.

During and after his career, Kimble noticed the lack of physical activities and unhealthy eating habits, as well as the increase of substance abuse among our youth. Kimble felt that with his background, he could be a part of a community effort in making a positive impact in the lives of our youth.
